Every year on New Year's Eve Orange Grove Blvd is turned into a pedestrian walkway for 1.5 miles beginning at our intersection at Columbia Street and going up past the Wrigley Mansion Tournament of Roses International HQ, to the Norton Simon Museum on Colorado Blvd where most of the cameras are lined up to film the Parade on national television.
The Rose Bowl Parade floats are lined up and down Orange Grove, many turning onto Orange Grove from Columbia at our corner. Guests of the Bissell House Bed and Breakfast enjoy walking up and down to see the floats up close and personal on New Year's Eve prior to their being judged, or early in the morning prior to the parade. The floats are fresh and beautiful and make for great photos.
Be sure to check out our Facebook Albums for some of the up close shots from past parades you can obtain.
